Iyengar Yoga for Parkinson’s, MS, & Neurocognitive Health
Saturday December 7th
Session 1: 11:00am-12:20pm
Session 2: 12:30pm-2:00pm
What to expect:
Taking into consideration who is present, and that everyone’s PD is unique, we will start in a chair and explore some yoga poses, adapted with props, that can help ease symptoms and enhance mobility challenges commonly associated with Parkinson’s.
What is Iyengar Yoga?
Iyengar Yoga employs the use of common yoga props, (chairs, bricks, belts, bolsters, blankets), to scale the yoga practice according to individual needs, age, goals and ability in order to gain access to the health benefits from the practice.
